主讲人简介：
Vincent Greenier，博士，阿联酋沙迦美国大学英语系副教授，拥有逾二十年跨国英语教学经验，遍及美国、韩国、新西兰及英国等。在SSCI等国际知名学术期刊发表论文20余篇，担任多个重要学术期刊的主编或副主编，曾多次受邀在国内外重要学术会议上做讲座。研究兴趣主要为语言教学的创造性方法、英语教学的领导力和专业精神、语言教师教育、语言教师身份以及定性研究的创新方法等。当前，Greenier博士致力于探索教学中新的情感维度，尤其关注弹性适应、同情心培养、直觉激发以及爱的融入等教学法的研究与实践。
主讲内容：
Empirical research on factors that contribute to teacher engagement is greatly needed in order to understand and prevent teacher attrition. To provide more insight into this subject, this study aimed to examine a model of teacher engagement with a focus on buoyancy and commitment in an English as a Foreign Language (EFL) setting. This study specifically investigated how teacher buoyancy impacts work commitment and how teacher resilience serves as a mediating factor. The findings, based on the survey response of 389 Iranian English language teachers, demonstrate that the dedication of teachers was linked to their work involvement, teacher resilience played a role in this connection, and teacher commitment levels impact teacher engagement, leading to increased work engagement in teacher.
