主讲人简介：
Vincent Greenier，博士，阿联酋沙迦美国大学英语系副教授，拥有逾二十年跨国英语教学经验，遍及美国、韩国、新西兰及英国等。在SSCI等国际知名学术期刊发表论文20余篇，担任多个重要学术期刊的主编或副主编，曾多次受邀在国内外重要学术会议上做讲座。研究兴趣主要为语言教学的创造性方法、英语教学的领导力和专业精神、语言教师教育、语言教师身份以及定性研究的创新方法等。当前，Greenier博士致力于探索教学中新的情感维度，尤其关注弹性适应、同情心培养、直觉激发以及爱的融入等教学法的研究与实践。
主讲内容：
Research in language teacher leadership at the classroom level has increased significantly over the past decade resulting in the emergence of various conceptualizations of what leadership entails. This talk, based on a qualitative exploratory study, investigated stakeholders’ perspectives on the essential features of leadership in language teacher education in the South Korean context and how these features may be nurtured in teacher-learners in pre-service teacher education programs. Based on the findings, which suggest that essential language teacher leadership features include an integrated combination of possessing strong interpersonal skills, being contextually aware and situationally adaptive, and acting as a good language and learner model for students, a framework is proposed for nurturing leadership skills in teacher education programs.
